1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. It is used to remember information between pages or between visits. Alongside cookies there are similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, which we report on here as well.
2. How consent works on this site
The first time you arrive you will see a notice with two options at the same level: Accept and Reject. Until you choose one:
- No analytics script is loaded.
- No cookie beyond the strictly necessary is installed.
- Continuing to browse is not treated as acceptance.
If you reject, Google Analytics is never even downloaded and, if any of its cookies were left over from a previous visit, they are deleted. Your decision is stored for 24 months. After that you are asked again.
3. Cookies this site uses
Technical or necessary (no consent required)
| Name | Owner | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| vw-consentimiento-cookies | First party (gmdigitalwork.com) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so you are not asked again on every page. It is kept in the browser's local storage and never travels to the server. | 24 months |
Analytics (only if you accept them)
| Name | Owner | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics 4) | Distinguishes visitors by assigning a random identifier, without knowing who you are | 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics 4) | Maintains session state in order to count visits and page views | 2 years |
Analytics is configured with the IP address anonymised and with advertising signals switched off: we do not use this data for ads and we do not cross-reference it with any commercial profile. You can read how Google handles this information in its privacy policy.
Third-party cookies we do not control
If you click an external link (for example, to visit a portfolio project or message us on WhatsApp), the destination site may install its own cookies. That is outside our reach and is governed by their policies.
4. Changing your decision
You can review or change your choice whenever you like, as easily as you made it:
You will also find this link permanently in the footer, on every page of the site.
5. How to delete them from your browser
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Bear in mind that if you block all of them, some websites may stop working properly:
There is also the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, which stops data being sent from any website.
6. Updates
If we add or remove tools, we will update this policy and ask for your consent again where the change requires it. You can see the date of the last revision at the top of this page.
